Feelin' Loopy

treat gallery at Foley Gallery   /   Deadline: 03/17/20

We are in search of 10-15 artists who represent loops visually or conceptually.

A loop is defined as a shape produced by a curve that bends around and crosses itself. A loop can be a structure, series, or process, the end of which is connected to the beginning – as long as the end result encloses onto itself. The phrase "feeling loopy" represents a feeling of detachment or amusement. Loops can be singular or repeat infinitely – as long as the the loop is connected in such a way that the last component is connected to the first component – it is a loop.

ONE EXHIBITION // THREE VENUES
Work will be considered for exhibition at one or more of the following physical or digital venues:

Foley Gallery in New York City, NY (March 2020)
Hastings College in Hastings, NE (April 2020)
Fizz: A Digital Overflow (Online)

Feelin' Loopy will explore how artists located across the country can come together in one exhibition happening in 3 different places, thus creating a new kind of loop for the process of making, sharing, and viewing art. View full details on our application.
