A National Juried Exhibition
LHUCA (Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts) / Deadline: 10/31/18
Portraits are a long-standing genre of fine art: always evolving and changing in style and media. LHUCA seeks artworks that broaden the definition of portraiture and its relevance in contemporary art. Portraits can be more than simply visual recognition and resemblance: they can offer a conceptual interpretation of the theme through a diverse range of media and creative possibilities. This will be LHUCA's 4th annual juried exhibition.
Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts (LHUCA) located in Lubbock, TX. LHUCA is the largest contemporary art center between Dallas/Fort Worth and Santa Fe. This exhibition will be on display for two First Friday Art Trails reaching over 6,000 visitors.
