For this exhibition, we seek images that will contribute to a mosaic of what it means to be female: the mystery, the diversity, the enduring and the changeable. Photographs of women of any age are encouraged that reveal aspects of the feminine core—its physicality, emotional complexity, strength and vulnerability, and unique place in humanity.

All captures or processes are welcome

Location

PhotoPlace Gallery's mission is to support contemporary fine art photography as a means of creative expression and cultural insight. PhotoPlace Gallery sponsors exhibition opportunities through international juried exhibits in Middlebury, Vermont, through its published exhibition catalogs, and on its website.

Fees

$35 for up to 5 images, $6 each additional

Eligibility

Open to all photographers. To encourage broad geographic participation, we offer free matting and framing to all exhibitors for the duration of the exhibit.

Awards

We are immensely pleased that Joyce Tenneson will be jurying and curating this exhibition. She will select approximately 35 images for exhibition in the gallery, and 35 for our Online Gallery Annex. The recipients of the Juror's Award and the Director's Award will each be entitled to a personal portfolio review by Ms. Tenneson.

All 75 selected images will be reproduced in the exhibition print catalog and remain permanently on our website, with links to photographer's URL. Gallery exhibition May 2 - 26, 2018.
