I Still Shoot Film is a place to celebrate and learn about film photography.

Home to a thriving community of film lovers, I Still Shoot Film features inspiring photos from photographers across the globe. ISSF also provides a wide array of learning resources, including how-to articles and product reviews.

I Still Shoot Film is looking for freelance writers with film photography knowledge and experience to contribute to one of the oldest and most trusted film photography websites!

Pay: $30 per article, 1000 - 1500 words, must include at least 2 photos which meet I Still Shoot Film quality standards. If images are pulled online they must be creative commons usage and must credit the photographer (for example: Flickr creative commons or Wikimedia commons.) Images may be your own but we retain the right to refuse images which are not a good fit.

Requirements:

Pitch your idea before submitting an article to make sure it fits with what we are looking for and is not duplicate content
Maintain a casual and friendly tone
Use easy-to-understand language and terms to explain more complicated concepts (our site is geared towards all film photographers, beginners included!)
Excellent grammar and AP style guidelines a MUST
How-To articles must include step-by-step photos (these can be digital)

We also include a byline of your choice with two links, which should be provided with the article, and credit on all of our social media outlets.

Alternative Process guides
Advance film photography techniques
Current events and happenings in the film world
Interviews with well known film photographers
