ISSUE PROMPT: WISDOM

The thematic prompts for Light's Second Volume have grappled with introspective experiences familiar to artists: reflecting, musing, noticing neglect, and, last, our efforts' ultimate payoff in wisdom.


For Issue 8, we invite works that suggest how we earn our epiphanies and grapple with what wisdom means. If you have discovered luminous transfiguration, tell us about what it's like. If the result has been the depths of tragedy, explain. If you've found the truth is something no one ever told you about—something utterly unexpected and unprecedented—we wish to hear from you most of all. Please enlighten us.
