SPENW   /   Deadline: 06/30/15

We are asking for your nominations for the following SPENW office roles:

Northwest Chair (One Year Term)
The Chair is at the helm in coordinating the work of the region, ensuring that regions are following best practices, policies and proceedings, establishing meeting agendas, ensuring that regional conferences or gatherings take place and more. In addition, the Chair is the point person for National Office Staff, for the chair of the Regional Affairs committee (Anne Massoni) and is the primary 'go-to' person for the region.

Northwest Vice Chair/Secretary (Two Year Term)
The Vice Chair/Secretary assists the Chair in regional business. Is responsible for keeping meeting minutes and issuing communications to the Northwest regional members (via eNewsletter and website updates). The Vice Chair/Secretary will fill in for chair if needed.

Northwest Treasurer (Three Year Term)
The Treasurer manages the regional budget and helps plan spending. All regional finances are managed by SPE's national office and financial updates can be requested when needed.

Please email your own name / the name of an individual you feel would best fit one of the roles listed above (including contact information for individual) to the email address listed below.

The only requirement is that the nominee must be a current SPE member (or willing to sign up to run in the elections) and must provide a short biography paragraph. Serving as an SPE Regional Officer is a volunteer position to the organization and a great opportunity for networking and professional development.

Once nominations have been collected, the nominees will be asked to run and a vote will be held via email.

Nomination Due Date: June 30, 2015
