Streit Lab is a three week instagram residency meant to explore the theme "photographs of photographs."

This differs from guest posting as the photographer will be creating a body of work specifically for this instagram project. Streit House Space will then produce a limited edition zine of that work.

The idea of "photographs of photographs" is about conceptualizing the image as a material object; we're looking for people that are interested in process and experimentation. There should be be risks and failures but also obviously, great images.
Whether it's reworking an existing series or starting something completely new, this is an opportunity for photographers to do something with their work they might not normally do.
