CALL FOR BIPOC ARTISTS!

The Carl Maxey Center   /   Deadline: 12/15/21

Download in PDF Format

This is the building where Sandy Williams (Block Lens newspaper) dreamt of a community center. This is the building the community walked through and said, we want to see these types of programs here.

We are calling upon BIPOC artists to participate in an exhibition (as part of the programming), and celebrating the opening of The Carl Maxey Center in Spokane, WA.

Our vision is to merge social justice and the visual arts communities. We are selecting works for the opening exhibition and the start of a permanent art collection for the Maxey Center. Some artists will be asked to participate in traveling to the exhibition. Also, they will be cataloged, listed at 4comculture.com, and in a periodic mailing to the exhibition space.
