The Color blue is a very common reoccurring theme in art. The influence the color has had on music, artist, and entire eras of art work are endless, but for this call for entry, in response to "Blue", it should be though the the scope of blue in regards to Joni Mitchells Album "Blue". Her Album will be fifty years old this year which allows for an incredible opportunity to revisit the album as a whole, while at the same time looking at the idea of "Blue", and how much the word blue has changed or not changed in half of a century since the release. It is also not required in anyway, but responses to specific songs or lyrics from the album are more then welcome. If you do respond to an individual song or lyric, please include that information in your submission email, but keep the response to a paragraph or less.

Requirements

Every entry is FREE for 5 submissions. There is no longer an option to submit extra submissions. This zine is not for profit, the entry cost will cover printing and shipping. The zine will be 32 pages 5.25X8.25 inches and perfect bound International shipping may have a slight additional cost. Any extra submissions that do not pay the entry cost will be discarded. Artists will be contacted within two weeks after the end of the deadline to whether or not some of their work has been accepted or not.

All entries should be 5MB or smaller and emailed to losethefilm@gmail.com

Every file should be Lastname_Firstname_imagename.jpg

For example Smith_John_mountains.jpg

In the email please please include:

Call for entry in the email subject line

Include your full name

Instagram name

And any specifications related to your entry

Include your address if purchasing additional submissions

Attention- Any entries that are submitted as google drive links, zipped files, or not named correctly will be discarded.
