Washington State University's Department of Fine Arts invites artists to submit works for consideration for a group exhibition working with the idea of aimlessness, or to aim less. We invite artists to submit works in any media including new media, video, live performance, sculpture, installation, intermedia, photography, and painting, etc.

We invite artists to interpret ideas about the theme of aimlessness, or to "aim less," and its relationship to space, process, and representation.

Aimlessness inherently speaks to the objectless, and action without purpose. We are looking for artists to interpret the qualities of what is to be aimless while considering the subversive nature of aiming less in our contemporary culture. We offer a moment to explore a parallel path while investigating expectation, spontaneity, liminality, desolation, and liberation.

Juried by Ashley Quast and June T Sanders

Exhibition opens March 4, 2019 and runs through March 29, 2019
