DEADLINE: APRIL 7 2019. Waterloo Arts invites all artists residing in the US or Canada to submit artwork for the 2019 Waterloo Arts Juried Exhibition. This is a unique opportunity for artists to exhibit work in the Waterloo Arts Gallery in Cleveland, Ohio. Artists will receive substantial exposure during the district's largest community event, The Waterloo Arts Fest, welcoming more than 5,000 attendees.

Eligibility

Artists must be at least 18 years of age and reside in the US or Canada
Artist may submit up to three (3) pieces of original art in any two-dimensional or three-dimensional media
Time based, electronic media, performance art, and installations will NOT be accepted.
Work exceeding 36 inches in any dimension may be excluded due to space restrictions. Work may not exceed seventy pounds in weight.
Shipping and delivery costs are the sole responsibility of the artist. Care should be taken when considering submitting extremely fragile, heavy or large pieces.
All work must have been executed within the last 5 years and not been shown previously at Waterloo Arts
*Entries must remain in the gallery for the duration of the exhibition to be eligible for awards

Best of Show: $500
Second Best of Show: $250   
Honorable Mentions: $100
NEOH Artist CAN Journal Prize: Cash Prize $250 and Artist feature article in fall edition of CAN Journal*
Brick Ceramic + Design Prize: $150
Praxis Fiber Workshop Prize: $150
tap Prize for Wearable Art: $150
Waterloo Arts Trustee Prize for Painting/Illustration: $150
Zygote Press Prize for Printmaking: $150
Outstanding Work in Sculpture: $150
Outstanding Work in Paper: $150
