The Photo Review / Deadline: 06/15/15
Accepted work will be reproduced in the 2015 competition issue of The Photo Review, a critical journal of photography with an international scope and readership, and on The Photo Review website. Prizewinners will be exhibited at the photography gallery at The University of the Arts, Philadelphia. Mr. Miller will select one photographer for inclusion in the summer show at the Laurence Miller Gallery. Editor's selections will be exhibited in several Photo Review web galleries (for examples, click here).

An entry fee of $35 for up to three images, and $8 for each additional image, entitles all entrants to a copy of the full-color catalogue. In addition, all entrants may subscribe to The Photo Review for $36, a 20% discount. (Higher rates apply for non-US subscribers.)
All photographs, black and white, color, non-silver, computer-manipulated, etc., are eligible. The catalogue will be printed in full color. Submit
files through Smarter Entry here, or submit unframed prints up to 17"x22". (Prints larger than 17"x22" may be submitted in a reduced size; original
size will be noted.) Name and title or identifying labels must be attached to the back, upper left-hand corner of each print. Images submitted
to Smarter Entry should be 1280 pixels in the longest dimension. If accepted, higher resolution images will be required for reproduction.
Online image submissions:
To prepare your images for uploading, please adhere to the following image file specifications:
- sRGB or RGB color space (standard) - NOT CMYK (typically used by printing industry)
- 72 ppi resolution
- sized to 1,280 pixels on the longest side, the other size width or height proportional
- layers flattened
- 8 bit mode
- JPG format
- JPG compression at level 7 (medium)
- Label files with your last name-first initial-number (e.g.: WestonE01). Do not use characters other than a period preceding jpg in the
file name. The following characters will lead to image uploading problems:!@#$%^&*()_+'

Awards include an Olympus OM-D E-M5 camera kit with 12-50mm lens and FL-LM2 electronic flash; SilverFast Ai Studio 8, SilverFast HDR Studio, SilverFast SE Plus 8, from LaserSoft Imaging; a 24"x50' roll of Museo Silver Rag; a 20"x24" silver gelatin fiber print from Digital Silver Imaging; a ToughTech Duo hard drive from CRU; numerous camera bags from ThinkTank Photo; an Alpine Labs Michron time-lapse device; and flash drives from USB Memory Direct. In addition, William Earle Williams, the Audrey A. and John L. Dusseau Professor in Humanities; Professor of Fine Arts and Curator of Photography, at Haverford College, will select an image for a $500 purchase prize for inclusion in the Haverford College Photography Collection, one of the largest and most comprehensive college photography collections in the United States.
