National Emerging Artists Exhibition open to Juniors, Seniors and Recent Undergrads
Manifest Creative Research Gallery and Drawing Center / Deadline: 03/26/18
For a fourteenth straight year we offer this challenge to students and the recently graduated in regional, national, and international college undergraduate programs to show us what they have achieved, bring it off campus, and share it with our international viewing public. To date Manifest has exhibited works representing 189 different academic institutions.
We believe there exists tremendous unexposed quality among people pursuing degrees in the visual arts. Revealing artists and new work to the public is part of our non-profit mission!
This exhibit will feature the best work from artists about to receive or recently awarded an undergraduate degree from a regional, national, or international college art or design program. All entrants must have received or be scheduled to receive a college undergraduate degree in 2017, 2018, or 2019, and provide a current academic reference's contact info.

CASH AWARD
In addition to the $500 Best of Show cash award for this exhibit, exhibitors included in RITES will have a chance to be considered for the Manifest Grand Jury Prize. The prize will result in the awarding of one cash prize ($2500) to a single work selected as the 'best of the season'. Winner will be determined by a final end-of-year jury from among a pool of all top-scoring works from each exhibit's jury process across the current exhibition season. Details on this new annual Manifest Grand Jury Prize can be found at http://www.manifestgallery.org/about/awards/grand_jury_prize/index.html.
Rites also offers a Director's Choice Award, a non-monetary recognition of a work chosen by Manifest's Executive Director as deserving particular distinction.
Open to any and all traditional and non-traditional visual arts media, genre, subject matter, and content.
Manifest's carefully assembled juries change from project to project, and as a body have no collective predisposition towards any particular kind or style of art.
