Absence and Presence: Landscape as Memory

This body of work was shot along the Norfolk and Suffolk coast in England, where I grew up. Each time I go "home" I photograph along this stretch of coast.

I am now an intimate stranger as I have lived in America for longer than I lived in England. I know the people and the places, but I have a certain distance. This gives me a unique perspective as a photographer.
