Sarah baranski (b. 1982) is a fine art photographer from Chicago, IL. She received her BA from Judson University and her MFA from Columbia College Chicago in 2007, where she was the recipient of the Albert P. Weisman Memorial Scholarship, the Union League Civic & Arts Foundation Visual Art Scholarship as well as the Illinois Arts Council Grant Finalist Award. Her fine art has been widely exhibited around the United States, which includes the Catherine J. Smith Gallery in North Carolina, MFA City Gallery in Maryland, Monmouth Museum in New Jersey, The Center for Fine Art Photography in Colorado and the Woman Made Gallery in Chicago. Her work has also been featured in various publications, including Hands on Magazine, LENSCRATCH as well as The Photo Review. Sarah is currently working in the Photography department of The School of the Art Institute as the Photography Equipment Circulation Manager where she manages the Media Center and oversees student workers. Sarah makes work that focuses on identity.
