about

Sandy Manikowski is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee earning her BFA in Photography with an emphasis in Design, who classifies herself as a taboo and feminist artist.

Her conceptual inspiration is often drawn from humanistic characteristics, insecurities, the environment, or issues that range from the planes of innocent to controversial. In most of her work she uses performance and pushes to have a conversation about these aspects we are not always so willing to discuss or admit.
