Window Within

The invisible becomes visible in the fine art series Window Within. Each photograph blends form and narrative to produce a delicate balance between recognizable shape and abstraction. The ethereal visuals represent the internal landscape where truth and reality exist in the mind and define the human identity. Just as our thoughts and memories race through our consciousness so too does our identity shift and demand reexamination. I invite audiences from all backgrounds to enter into this intimate arena of the mind and journey from darkness to light. Through personal examination of universal themes common to all humanity I ask viewers to face past pain and failures, but to also find healing, truth and hope as they embrace the human journey.

To create each image an existing painting is appropriated digitally and projected through a block of glass that reshapes the light and colors onto a black backdrop. Window Within consists of eighteen 12x18" aluminum prints float mounted and prepared for gallery display.
