Rebekah Flake is an artist and writer working from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She investigates nostalgia and tourism at sites where national identities are exhibited in contemporary culture. Her research-based work speaks to the intersection of social history and personal experience. She received an MFA Photography from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, in 2014. She also holds an MA from the Williams College Graduate Program in the History of Art and a BA
from the University of Pennsylvania.
