About Rebecca Hopp: Growing up near New Ulm, Minnesota, Rebecca lived on a small family farm that raised hogs, cattle and grain. She studied graphic design and advertising for two years at South Dakota State University before transferring to the University of Memphis to receive a bachelor's degree in Advertising Photography. Rebecca received her MFA in Photography from Texas Tech University in 2013. She currently works as a freelance photographer, Cohort Instructor for Literacy Through Photography and Instructor and Outreach for Houston Center for Photography. Rebecca's career goals as an educator revolve around service learning through art. Rebecca is a member of the Society for Photographic Education and a nationally exhibiting artist.
