Rachael Banks is a Kentucky-based artist and educator - she mostly works in photograph and book format. She received an MFA in Photography from Texas Woman's University. Rachael is an Assistant Professor and Photography Area Head Coordinator at Northern Kentucky University.
Rachael's research stems from a deep connection to trauma within familial and area relationships. Her work informs the impact of socioeconomic issues from an intimate to regional scale within the Southern Midwest. Rachael's photographs have exhibited regionally, nationally, and in several varying publications.
Rachael loves deer and black dogs.
