Moritz Neumüller (Linz, Austria, 1972) is a curator and image-maker based in Barcelona. He is director of a study program called European Master of Fine Art Photography in Madrid and, since 2010, runs The Curator Ship, a platform for photography and image culture. In his artistic practice, Neumüller tends to do conceptual work, with a strong documentary and social character. His photographic projects have been exhibited in events such as the Habana Biennale, and his films have been shown on television and at international festivals. Together with other researchers in the field, he has developed a project called Tactile Photography, based on the idea of a 3D capturing system, in order to record depth information together with a conventional digital photograph.
