Miriam Romais is a NY-based Brazilian-American photographer and arts professional. Recent awards include a 2018 residency at Woodstock Artist Association Museum (WAAM), and a 2016 artist grant (NYSCA/Saratoga Arts) for her documentary, HERsteading.

Past exhibits include El Museo del Barrio in NYC; Museum of the City of NY; Smithsonian Institution in DC; Saratoga Arts and many more. She has served as a panelist, reviewer (CPW, NYTimes Portfolio Review, Fotoweek DC, En Foco), and mentor to hundreds of emerging artists of color over the past 20 years.
