I am a Victoria-based artist, writer, and teacher. My studio process involves bridging between printmaking, analog and digital photography. My academic research focus is on 'lens media' and digital technology as vehicles supporting collaborative-creative inquiry. I have co-created comic books, gallery art, installations and performance works with elementary students, educators and fine arts graduate students alike in Canada and the USA. I am an associate professor at the University of Victoria. I have also taught at the University of Alberta, Central Washington University and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design
