Megan Charland is the Director of Photography & Digital Arts at Flower City Arts Center (FCAC) in Rochester, New York. She has an MFA in Visual Studies from the Visual Studies Workshop with a graduate certificate in Arts Administration. She currently teaches Social Media for Artists and Teen Zine workshops at FCAC along with zine workshops for adults throughout Western New York.
Prior to working at FCAC Charland was an adjunct lecturer at The College at Brockport State University of New York in the Department of Art. She taught Web Design & Development, Graphic Design II, and Digital Arts I courses for two years.

Charland has been a member of SPE off and on since she was an undergraduate student at Rochester Institute of Technology in the early 2000s.
