Matthew Conboy is an artist and photographer working in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After earning a BS in architecture from the Catholic University of America, he studied photography at Virginia Commonwealth University where he received his MFA. In 2015, he graduated with a PhD in Interdisciplinary Arts from Ohio University where he worked with W. Eugene Smith's Pittsburgh Project. Matthew currently teaches photography at Point Park University.
Matthew serves on the board of directors for the Mattress Factory art museum and is also the director of Start with Art: Pittsburgh, an organization that creates the youngest art collectors in the world by gifting original, signed, and numbered photographic prints to every baby born at three hospitals in Pittsburgh.
