about

Maryam Ashkaboosi is the third-year MFA student at the art, technology, and emerging communication department of the University of Texas at Dallas. Her research interests are interactive art, programming, sound art, and abstract art. She performed some research on installation arts and tried to develop new ideas and artworks in this field as well. At this stage, her main concerns include sustainability artworks; she comments on global warming by using advanced techniques and technologies in art, to increase the awareness of her viewers. Ashkaboosi is also interested in spherical time as one of the most effective techniques in art. To attract more audiences to her artworks, she is interested in depicting her projects with holographic techniques in the physical form.
