In 2010, I was moving across country and back to Nashville to care for my mother who died unexpectedly just prior to my arrival. That summer I began using the house and suburb I grew up in as a backdrop for my work. In the series, "Evidence," I revisit various spaces in my childhood home through a non-linear series of photographs documenting vacated situations, ephemera, and curious objects whose purpose and meaning is ambiguous, and whose history is lost or fragmented.
