Between then and now

This work is dedicated to sharing stories that give witness to the strength behind survivors of sexual abuse, assault, violence and trauma. The images center on the private lives of survivors who have rebuilt their lives, putting faces on a global issue that all too often leaves its victims silent and invisible.

The images will be combined with interviews, poems, and other writings. My approach is a collaborative one. I am interested in what healing looks like for each individual and aim to be sensitive to each image created.

When silence is so very inviting

No room for silence

No room for silence

Fretted intonation

If I make it through the fight then I know I'm not nobody

Safety bubble

Between polar opposites waiting for release
