Home is Where I Am

This autobiographical series explores the feelings of transition that one experiences when moving to another place. When leaving the place once called home, the anxiety to face an unknown environment might affect first impressions of a new "home." Moving to a different country makes the transition even harder, because of the language barrier and cultural disparity. Over the years, the photographer documented the process of adapting to a new culture, while at the same time not forgetting her roots and where she came from. "Home is Where I Am" is a catalogue of the artist's feelings while on the journey to realizing she is her own home.

Foolish fragile spine

Creating love

We did not make mistakes

Will we ever fit in?

Never in vain

Untitled (curtains)

They all go on

The sun is setting on her

Untitled (movement)

Long time periods

Nothingness Itself

Not there

You're the sun, I am a black hole
