Like many photographers I stated taking photographs at an early age. I also study photography for a short time in high school and in undergraduate school.
It was not until I was in my early thirties that I decided to take a more serious approach to photography.
In 1990 I enrolled in the photograph program at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
While there I worked as a student worker and then as a part time staff member. My staff positions eventually lead to a full time faculty positions.
As a faculty member at Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale I received my Masters of Fine Art in photography from Barry University, Miami Shores, Florida
I have over ten years of wet lab experience as well as over a decade of working with digital photography.
I took sometime off from my teaching carrier to seriously pursue my fine art photography.
In the last several years I have been working on a series of abstract photographs consisting of details of ice and water.
