Kate Jordahl's journey in photography has been about books and collaboration. As an educator, editor, and photographer, Kate Jordahl brings her love of books and passion about images to the creation of a variety of visual projects. Kate is a professor of Photography at Foothill College, Los Altos Hills and co-director of PhotoCentral Programs, Hayward. Her photographs are is in numerous collections including the Bibliothéque Nationale de France, Paris and her work is represented by Themes + Projects/Modernbook Gallery, San Francisco. Her book projects include "Searching for True North," "Native American Ceremonial Dancers" and "The Village: Bill Owens." Current projects include "Altamont to America: Bill Owens and the Legacy of Suburbia" featuring the life work of Bill Owens and "Cultures in Transition" with photographs by Oliver Klink.
