Art, culture and people have always been important to Jordanne's creative flow, as well as satisfying her wanderlust. From growing up in Ohio to receiving her BFA at the Rhode Island School of Design (2003), she then wandered to Italy to work at SACI, where many of the Italians will say "she is as infectious as sunshine". In 2008 she entered the Ohio State University's MFA program, then in 2009 was a recipient of the Edwin Austin Abbey Mural Fellowship in NYC. Prior to receiving her MFA in 2010, Jordanne was an instructor of record/lecturer for both digital and analog photography at OSU. In 2015, she was a Puffin Foundation and Ohio Arts Council grant recipient for public art. Currently, Jordanne is professing the arts in the Queen City and freelancing commercially, while pursuing socially engaged photography and mural projects.
