Janelle Young, of Dayton, Ohio, completed her bachelor's of fine art degree in photography with minors in film studies and art history at the University of Dayton. She exhibits in juried and group shows, most recently at the Riffe Gallery in Columbus, Ohio, the Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center in Covington Kentucky, the Neon Heater Gallery in Toledo Ohio and the Dayton Art Institute in Dayton Ohio. She was awarded a 2013 Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award and a Willson Center Graduate Research Award at the University of Georgia where she is currently a master of fine art candidate in the photography department.
