about

Harrison Huse (b. 1997) is a queer lens-based artist established in Chicago, Illinois. Harrison's body of work surrounds LGBTQ+ identity through portraiture. He has also been exploring the theme of isolation through abstract and experimental photographic methods using digital ink transfers onto various materials. He is currently obtaining his bachelor's degree in photography at Columbia College Chicago. His work has been featured at Filter Space and The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.

His current series, "To Find The Wholeness That You Seek" is an ongoing project about his boyfriend, Torrance; who is going through Hormone Replacement Therapy and is a trans man. The photographs not only document his growth, physically, but also the growth of their relationship as a couple.
