Inbetween Dreams explores the dream-like state of mind and the obscurity of dreams. The series is not meant to translate the dream itself but rather the feeling and mood of a dream caught between reality and imagination. Second-guessing and uncertainty towards reality drive the overall narrative of this series with physically impossible representations of dream-like states. The play between light and dark add to the visual struggle that seems to hover between a dream state and awareness. The selective focus, blur, and overly saturated blue color temperature add to the surreal like dream environment. The subject often hovers between the two states of light and dark and acts as the guide between the two. Her actions often mirror the energy of a dream whether it’s subdued or energetic.

The series is all shot digital and presented as digital inkjet prints.

All images where created from 2014-present day.
