Erin Jennings is a Memphis based photographer and filmmaker working in lens-based mediums. Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production, a Master of Arts in Political Science (Politics in Film), and a Master of Fine Arts in Photography. Her photographic work emphasizes and examines representation and the politics of viewing. Jennings' work has been exhibited internationally, with a recent feature in The Opera Magazine for Classic and Contemporary Nude Photography. Her scholarly research explores contemporary photographic practice, the state of higher education and resulting labor policies. She now teaches photography as a faculty member in The Department of Art at The University of Memphis
