Danielle C. Head was born in Jefferson City, Missouri in 1985. She received her BA in Film, Photography and Video from Hampshire College in 2007 and MFA in Photography from Indiana University in 2011. She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Photography at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. Head's work examines the effects of photographic mediation on the construction historical narrative intentionally conflating fact and fiction – past and present.
