Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Anna Ogier-Bloomer holds a MFA in Photography from Parsons The New School for Design, where she was awarded the Photography Department Prize in 2011. She received her BFA from The School of The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, where she was the recipient of the Yousuf Karsh Prize in Photography. Ogier-Bloomer has exhibited at galleries and museums nationally, including the Bridge Art Fair in Miami/Basel, The Contemporary Art Center in Cincinnati, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, in Barcelona at the renowned NYC-based Slideluck Potshow, and in Massachusetts at the Attleboro Arts Museum. She has received grants from Chashama in New York, and the Museum School in Boston. Anna is an adjunct Assistant Professor at the City University of New York and the Assistant Director of Career Development at the School of Visual Arts where she conducts workshops and other career programming.
Ogier-Bloomer currently lives in New York City and travels often for her work.
