about

Amanda is currently a third year graduate student and teaching fellow at the University of Houston. She received her B.S. from Texas A&M University in 2005 before studying with Keith Carter at Lamar University in 2009 and 2010. During her post-baccalaureate studies at Lamar, Amanda began entering her work in local and regional photography contests with some success and shortly after started showing her work in galleries across the US and in England. At the same time, Amanda opened her photography studio working with clients photographing weddings, portraits, and commercial assignments. She lives with her husband and two children in the suburbs north of Houston and works on projects centered around domesticity.
