As a father, I enjoy every moment I get with my daughter. Like most people, demands from a job and other day-today things can often limit the time I get to spend with my daughter. This series is an exploration of those moments that I miss. As I walk around my house at night turning off the lights, I sometimes notice these little scenes left over from the day: a still life of intimate conversations with imaginary beings, strange juxtapositions of objects that only she could understand, and moments that were interrupted midway. When I look through the ground glass of the view camera, I see these set-ups as her way of communicating with me and allowing me to participate in what she does throughout the day when I am not around. Even though I am not around I still get to share these moments with her long after the action has taken place. nThis is how we play.
