LARRY FINK WORKSHOP IN PARIS: 'Empathy: the Hidden Eye'

What: "Empathy: the Hidden Eye", September 7-8-9, 2018

When: Friday, September 7 + Friday, September 8 + Sunday, September 9

Where: Galerie Binome, 19 Rue Charlemagne, Paris, 75004, France

Join us for the exceptional juncture of legendary photographer Larry Fink and the magical streets of the City of Light!

Very rarely does one photographer change the game and attitude of the medium: since the late 1960s Larry Fink's work has done just that, breathing a powerful, uncompromising new vision into photography's arguably most complex and daunting application, the art of social documentation.

From the seminal work 'The Beats', to the tender satyre of 'Social Graces', whether photographing loggers and boxers or presidents and Hollywood stars, Larry's inspiring humbleness in describing power relationships and their fundamental break away from a certain humaneness remains unchallenged to this day.

A radical empathizer gifted with a genius-like sense of improvisation and composition, Larry will be with us for 3 full days this early September to teach a small group of photographers some of his personal insights! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from one of the true greats still with us through portfolio reviews, a guided field assignment and his expert final editing of your newly created Paris work!

Are you up to the challenge of shooting right next to Larry in Paris' s legendary Marais artistic district? Are you ready to push on and grow your photographic practice (much) closer to its fullest possible form?

If so registrations are now open for a limited group of 15 photographers!
