2017 Portfolio Throwdown! [A Student Portfolio Review Event.]
A portfolio review event for both fine art and commercial photography students, hosted by The Light Factory and UNC Charlotte.
March 31 - April 1, 2017 at The Light Factory in Charlotte, NC.
The Portfolio Throwdown was created as a catalyst to spark conversations between aspiring students and 38 experienced photography educatiors and professionals who will serve as reviewers. For a $25 registration fee, student participants will have the opportunity to engage in 5 one on one portfolio reviews with a variety of industry experts and discuss their past work, future ambitions and shared passion for photography.
In addition to the reviews, Henry Horenstein, as part of the Martha Strawn Lecture Series, will be in attendance and will give a lecture Friday night at 7pm.
