NEXUS: Experimental Photography in Florida
In conjunction with the Harn’s 25th Anniversary celebration, NEXUS: Experimental Photography in Florida - Uelsmann, Fichter, Prince, Streetman & Walker takes a look at the long, prosperous careers of five key members of the UF Photography Department Faculty during the 1960s and 70s. It looks at the innovative imagery produced when all five artists were faculty. Together they generated a distinctive, exciting “nexus” that drew a generation of photographers to UF to study alternative, expressive forms of photography. NEXUS also celebrates these photographers’ work to the present.
