Mentoring Program

SPE is pleased to announce the third year of the Mentoring Program at the Newport conference. The program supports MFA photography and new media graduate students through career development advice. We also invite anyone seeking advice on the job search process to participate. SPE further offers professional development services for junior faculty. Tenure-track junior faculty members are invited to participate in the Mentoring Program to solicit advice, opinions and guidance from senior faculty on the tenure and promotion process. Anyone seeking advice about their teaching portfolio and the job application process or junior faculty seeking guidance through the tenure and promotion process with a senior faculty member should email Rebekah Modrak at rmodrak@yahoo.com, please specify what type of mentor you are requesting. Faculty who are interested in serving as a mentor should email Liz Lee at Elizabeth.Lee@fredonia.edu, please specify your participation preference, whether you are interested in mentoring through the job application or the tenure and promotion process (mentors interested in the latter must be tenured). . Requests to participate must be made by January 15, 2004.
