Virginia Morrison
Executive Director

Virginia’s career choices reflect her passion for art and management. She worked in a number of Cleveland area galleries and then went on be an award-winning teacher of photography and art at Hawken School and has been involved with student advocacy in educational contexts ever since. At the Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA) as Director of Career Services, Virginia launched several new initiatives including a career periodical, a centralized internship program, a job and opportunity referral service, and a comprehensive database to support these projects. She moved to Case Western Reserve University where she served as the liaison for implementation of the first version of the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) in the School of Medicine, now the national mechanism for medical residency placement. She assembled a successful NIH Training grant for the department of pharmacology and, just before joining SPE in 2007, Virginia served as the Administrative Director for Case’s Master of Public Health (MPH) Program, shepherding the program to accreditation by the Council on Education in Public Health.
